Major Terror Attack at IGI Airport Averted with minutes to spare
An alert head constable of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) saved the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) airport on Sunday night from being blown apart after he intercepted and checked a truck carrying 10.5 kg of white explosive substance suspected to be sodium azide or potassium chlorate. He also seized highly potent 69 detonators of "8 strength", which are used for triggering high-intensity blasts and 15 metres of cordex wire.

Explosive experts, who examined the substance, said that the explosive could be converted into a highly lethal combination by mixing it with diesel. The same combination was used with telling effect in 1997 when Abdul Karim Tunda, the commander of Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) had caused 27 blasts.

Intelligence sources maintained that the consignment seized from the premises of IGI airport was part of the conspiracy to bomb the airport after the twin blasts in Satyam and Liberty cinema halls.

Expert: Terror Cells Have Presence In South Florida
Some Predict 'Second Wave' Of U.S. Terrorism

POSTED: 2:47 pm EDT June 1, 2005
UPDATED: 3:02 pm EDT June 1, 2005

MIRAMAR, Fla. -- Despite the massive federal, state and local law enforcement effort to stop terrorists from entering the United States, there is no strong evidence of how well it is working.

Many experts are concerned that there are plenty of terrorists or sympathizers already in the country who have been here for years. Some are even citizens.

The Sept. 11, 2001, hijackers were the first wave and now the increasing number of arrests seems to signal a second wave of terrorism in South Florida.

Muslim Conspiracy Theories: Muslim paranoia hamper drive to eradicate polio
Children bear the brunt of vaccine opposition, reports Fergus Walsh in Kano, Nigeria

Sunday May 29, 2005
The Observer

Umar Ahmed should be toddling around by now. He is 18 months old with huge brown eyes and a beautiful smile but his legs are wasted and useless and drag behind him. At just a few months old the polio virus invaded his nervous system, causing paralysis.

His father Aminu pulls a water bucket from their well. Polio spreads through contaminated water and this may have been where the boy's infection came from. 'Just look at his legs,' Aminu said. 'They will never work.'

Umar's parents wanted him to be given the oral polio vaccine that could have prevented this tragedy. It's hardly surprising. Both of them are crippled by polio.

They made sure their six older children all received the drops. But Umar was born during a time when the vaccine was banned in the northern Nigerian region of Kano. In 2003 a conspiracy theory took hold here. Kano is a Muslim state and Islamic leaders claimed the polio vaccine was contaminated with oestrogen. It was suggested and popularly believed this was a Western plot to make Muslims infertile. The vaccine was banned in Kano for 12 months. It has now been reinstated but the damage has been immense. The number of Nigerian children like Umar, paralysed by polio, doubled last year to 792.

Sympathetic Magic and Magical Charms

Storing magical charms in another bid for sympathetic magic.   The difference between the insurgents in Iraq and voodoo doctors is that voodoo doctors are not bent on subjecting the world to the fascism of the Khilafate.

Sympathetic Magic in Iraq

Some would have you believe that this brutality is the result of the criminal acts of some US soldiers. In fact, that is hardly the case at all. The real reason Mr. Berg was beheaded is the same reason that voodoo doctors are so successful. Mr. Berg was beheaded in a vain, superstitious belief that if one cuts the head off of an American, one cuts the head off of America's military in Iraq.

Never underestimate the superstitious behavior of this culture. Ayatollah Khomeini was torn asunder during his funeral procession and his body parts are now the prized possessions of hundreds of peoples looking for magical charms. I fear that Mr. Berg may share that fate if the US does not act quickly and decisively in recovering his remains from this death cult.

Banned from Democratic Underground

The folks at Democratic Underground, an extreme leftist organization run a discussion forum. On one of the forums, an atavistic peacenik hippy cannot understand how collateral damage could occur in Israel. I proffered this news item:

This summarily had me banned from the forum. I am not that terribly upset about being banned. However, it does highlight the type of muddle-headed, biased, blind support of terror that has all but guaranteed the re-election of George W. Bush. Most Americans do not support terrorism. Yet the left is going out of its way to coddle terrorists, even inviting terrorist and terrorist apologist under the Democratic tent.

Ergo, people such as myself, who have never voted for a Bush (I already had four opportunties and always voted for the other guy) in their life are casting their ballot for George W. Bush in 2004. I am saddened to see the Democratic Party self-destruct. However, at the same time, I recognize that the Democratic Party no longer shares my values and has abandoned the very interests that once made it strong.

Ironically, I voted for a Democrat in 2000 because of his strong foreign policy and Bush's weak foreign policy. This year, I vote for George W. Bush because of his strong foreign policy and the democratic candidates weak foreign policy.

Yahoo Group and Discussion Forum are now open

I created a yahoo group to post select stories specific to the Khilafist movement at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/khilafism

I am still maintaining the discussion forum at: http://motleykrew.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=24 Stories posted on the yahoo group are cross-posted here for discussion. Additionally news articles not specifically related to khilafism are also posted at http://motleykrew.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=24
